Halle Bailey spent her Wednesday celebrating the achievements of leaders and change-makers across the country at The Hollywood Reporter’s 2021 Women in Entertainment Gala, and her chic outfit was worthy of its own round of applause. During the event, Halle briefly took the stage to recognize teen girl scholarship recipients and pass out laptops — with some help from Ted Lasso stars Hannah Waddingham and Toheeb Jimoh — to the class of 2022 while wearing an Ottolinger long-sleeve crop top ($640) and a matching pair of leggings ($615) embellished with dangling straps of fabric. “And i’m feelinggg gooddd ?☀️,” the “Do It” singer captioned an Instagram post of herself in the outfit on Dec. 8.
The event, sponsored by Fiji Water, was held in Los Angeles, where celebrities gathered to help present nearly $1 million in scholarships to graduates of THR‘s Women in Entertainment Mentorship Program, which works to “empower the next generation of women to emerge as creative powerhouses.” Fellow stars who attended the event included Jennifer Aniston, Selma Blair, Tessa Thompson, Jennifer Garner, and more.
While we send our cheers to these deserving graduates, take a closer look at Halle’s stylish outfit from the event ahead.
